The last Republican call-in on C-SPAN (airport security comments):
For those who didn't see it, the caller stated that he felt it was unreasonable to think that airport screenings without a warrant were legal while stating that wiretapping U.S. citizens without a warrant wasn't.

The glaring hole in this argument:

When you enter an airport, you agree to have certain of your Constitutional rights limited. One is the right to unlawful search (or search without a warrant). Another is your second amendment right to bear arms. By the caller's logic, it would be unreasonable to assert your second amendment rights anyplace simply because you agreed to waive them when you entered an airport.

Don't these people know how to THINK?

2. Either. It was rhetorical anyway.
More an expression of disgust (followed by sadness) than anything else.

These people vote.

3. Reminds me of the Freeps Ahoy thread
Last nite someone posted a funny link to FR, Apparently they are organizing a Carribean Cruise, and then the posters were saying all kinds of things about scary pirates, and one poster said he'd go on the cruise if he could be armed like he was at home.

Kablammo!! take that international pirate!!
