Kerry Stumps for the Democratic Party
Kerry Stumps for the Democratic Party
February 6th, 2006 @ 2:27 pm

John Kerry knows what the priorities are for the coming and year and that is what he is focused on when he goes on the road to stump for the Democratic Party and the upcoming 2006 elections…

Former presidential candidate John Kerry wasn’t stumping for himself during a stop today in Baltimore. And he wasn’t picking any favorites in the hotly contested Democratic primaries for governor and U.S. Senate.

While Kerry said he is considering running for president in 2008, the Massachusetts Democrat told reporters at a luncheon for Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., that he is more interested in visiting Maryland and other states to promote the Democratic Party.

“Let me be very clear about something, 2008 is not around the corner. 2006 is, and I’m here, and every other state that I can get to, to help re-elect people like Elijah and others who are making a difference,” Kerry said. “That will make more difference to the future of this country and the future of our party at the same time, and that’s what I am focused on.”

1. Thanko you, Kerry.
I think the 2004 election took away a lot of his ego and pride -- not that he had an overabundance of either. He is a better man for it. He has shown he is willing to learn and grow and that he is not a quitter.

2. Kerry has been working so hard promoting 2006 candidates.
I have to admire his tenacity and determination. I hope we all can come together and work as a team with our focus on the important goal of getting Democrats elected now- because as he says, 2006 is right around the corner.
