I don't care who the presidental candidate - this guy better be the VP

The fact that he's holding his own against McCain shows me that this guy would make good VP material. I think he's a bit too green under the collar for VP but in 2016 hopefully we'll all be saying President Barack!

5. I didn't think I'd want Gore to run again but....
these past years he's really proved to me that he should have the top position. I just hope the Gore we've seen between 2001-now is the one that shows up for the race and not that stiff boring snob that Gore tended to show during the presidental race. Unfortunately when people have to choose between an intellectual and a dumbass people tend to go for the dumbass because at least the dumbass makes us look smarter!

4. not a fan right now
he has alot of soul-searching to do and needs to prove he can find himself amdist all the pressure and temptations brought to bear on him at the fucking national level

So far hes flunking IMO

8. For one - when he speaks about fellow Dems and Dem policy
he should say "we" and not "they". Sounds like he is too good to be a Dem - comes across as arrogant and better than us.

11. champion the real left in this country
without even entertaining the corporte/DLC partisans looking to make him a puppet on a string

might still happen I guess, but I can't think of any time I've seen him make a comment on a major issue and been satisfied with his response (most recent re: wiretapping and filibuster)
