Big Dog gets big laughs while Laura explains punchline to GWB
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 10:11 PM by beaconess
Clinton is absolutely amazing.

"We're here to honor a person."

"What's Atlanta going to do to keep the King Center going? I read in the paper today that there are more rich black people here than just about anywhere else. What are we going to do with the rest of our lives."

He's the only white politician who can tell of black folks and get applause.

3. Hell - I found myself pining for the good old days of George Sr.
I never was much of a fan of his, but good Lord - he's heads and shoulders above his son. Gracious, funny, seemingly very comfortable in this setting. I'd settle for HIM as president right now.

How did he ever manage to raise a son as morally bankrupt as W?

You really need to read up on your Bush history. GWHB might seem like a nice guy, but that makes him a whole lot more dangerous in my book.

8. I love it when the Boy-King has to share the stage with BC.
The contrast can't be more obvious....and painful to all Americans. Republicans spent 8 years and $80MM trying to destroy Clinton with the full support of the corporate media....and he left office with a 65% favorbility rating. Bush has had the benefit of a compliant Republican majority and the corporate media puffing him up for 5 years....and he's got a 40% rating.

I'd love to know what was going through Dimson's mind when Bill got that standing "O"......

15. bahawahaha - good one !!!
It's clear to me our president is actually a 5 year-old child trapped in the body of a 55 year-old man. In the photo below, do you recognize the posture? It's that of a child, squirming and "melting down" with displeasure and insolence.

And you're right - "Ihaitchoo, Ihaitchoo" is what a 5-year-old would be thinking. Pretty pathetic this man is POTUS...

13. Me too. The Big Dawg vs The Big Duh.
Anytime the two appear anywhere together, it's obvious that Dubya isn't even fit to shine Bill's shoes. And I love how Clinton speaks extemporaneously and Dubya can barely stumble his way through a speech that his staff wrote for him. Can you imagine what it would be like if Dubya had to write his own speeches? OK, now that would be funny and sad at the same time. He's such an embarrassment to this country. I want Bill back.
