It's encouraging that Repukes want Bush to follow the law--I think?
Yeah, there's lots of maneuvering going on to protect Bush and make Congress look tough at the same time. But you do get the sense the Repukes are concerned with presidential mis-use of power. That issue wasn't debated before this year.

3. I don't think they care about his misuse of power, I think
there concerned that they are losing some of their power. That's the whole issue. they couldn't give a flying *F* about his misuse of anything.

4. What they are concerned about
is getting tied to a corrupt drunk with an approval rating south of 40% as election time approaches....especially because he's demanding extraordinary powers while delivering such incompetent performance.

Look at the pickle Rick Santorum finds himself in with Pennsylvania voters....
