Tin Foil Hat Time, Russell Building
Sensenbrenner, calls for an investigation into the wiretapping, which will be a joke,
but all of a sudden there is threat on the Russell building, in the attic of all places. Well I think with an upcoming investigation, they had to remove any equipment, that was in the Russell building.

2. Someone just had to walk across a lawn that had pesticide on it.
Apparently pesticides are watered down nerve agents.

3. huh
I can go out in the store room and look, but most of the active ingredients in our pesticides are pyrethroids. It does mess up the metabolism of bugs, but I don't know that it is exactly a nerve agent. But there are some older chemicals that are now banned that were really nasty.....

12. That is what they said. That the sensor's could be set off by something
like pesticide.

14. Someone's wife could have gone riding and then they just walked on
the same mat. Husband went to work. Boom.

Or husband went hunting. Changed clothers and shoes and went to work & boom! Alarm goes off.

8. But remember Daschel,
his office was exposed to Anthrax, before the 2002 elections, I don't recall how many times
his office was evacuated.

5. DUH!!!!!!
there are several possible scenarios though:
*they were removing bugs or bugging equip.
*they are ballsy enough to be planting the bugs or equip
*they were locating and destroying evidence
*they were tapping into the computers that the senate staffers said last night that they were not
even given enough time to log off of

If having common sense makes you a conspiracy theorist than I will proudly wear the tin foil hat!

6. That was my first thought - either removing bugs or adding bugs
I was thinking that each Dem should have a keystroke logger installed on their puters. It would show if there was any activity and what was accessed during these "events".

7. My first thought they were putting them in. But removing makes better
sense.

10. Removing them. I don't remember the details, but Abramoff lobbied
to get an Israeli firm to install technology in the Capitol Building. Here's one link to that story:

Abramoff also allegedly convinced Congressman Robert Ney, House Administrative Committee chairman, to award a contract worth $3 million to a start-up Israeli telecommunications firm called Foxcom Wireless. The contract was for the installation of antennas in House of Representatives buildings to improve cell-phone reception.....

http://isteve.blogspot.com/2005/11/jack-abramoffs-israeli-connections.html

Don't know if that would have anything to do with this suspected 'threat' or not, but it's inconceivable that a foreign company would be hired for something so sensitive to national security when there are plenty of US companies available.

11. Well that is
very interesting. I had heard that Israel had the best telecommunication system in the world.

9. Even if an accident
it sounds like a setup. This is the price they pay, getting credit for insulting reruns of past scams when it is an accidental spinoff of crummy detection equipment.
