Navy Reserve Adds Competing Memorial Statue

[Stinky The Clown]

Not to be outdone, the US Navy's Naval Reserve Museum has dedicated this state in honor of Stinky the Clown, a DU habitue who served in the Navy Reserves after leaving active service in 1969.

The statue was said to be placed in answer to the Air National Guard's recent bust dedication to another clown.

"It is time we honored all clowns who served their country" said the former Naval Reservist and long time clown advocate, Homer Simpson. Simpson has long been active in the clown world and is also a former Army Reservist. He predicted that the Army Reserves will have a similar statue erected to their clown alumni.

Stinky the Clown was heard to remark, at a party following the dedication of his statue, "The fucking thing doesn't even look like me. Assholes ......"
