"WASHINGTON - Jack Abramoff said in correspondence made public Thursday that President Bush met him “almost a dozen” times, disputing White House claims Bush did not know the former lobbyist at the center of a corruption scandal.

“The guy saw me in almost a dozen settings, and joked with me about a bunch of things, including details of my kids. Perhaps he has forgotten everything, who knows,” Abramoff wrote in an e-mail to Kim Eisler, national editor for the Washingtonian magazine.

Abramoff added that Bush also once invited him to his Texas ranch."

2. good grief
lies, lies, and more lies...this administration doesn't know it's head from it's ass:eyes:

Does Bush actually think people believe he never met Abramoff considering the amount of money exchanged between them.

Sickening.

3. Note to US "msm"; INDIAN TRIBES are NOT "CLIENTS" of Abramoff.
Why is this so impossible for the US "msm" to understand?

Indian tribes (and hey even individual Indians!) are allowed...LEGALLY ALLOWED...to donate their money to ANYONE they want and it isn't even a CRIME!

Why is this so impossible for the US "msm" to understand?

There is nothing illegal or wrong about accepting donations even from *gasp* Indian tribes...it's Abramoff's SCAMMING of the Tribes and his using those scammed funds for BRIBES TO REPUBLICANS (and not one penny to a Dem) that is ILLEGAL.

Why is this so impossible for the US "msm" to understand?

It just ain't rocket science, folks.

7. Yep. And the Indian tribes were not Abramoff's clients.
It's interesting how the "clients" meme started by Ken "I'm a partisan liar" Mehlman has been used by every US "msm" in the nation. That happens often. Coincidence, I'm sure. No really.

8. Then Bush "LIED" ?
Wasn't that the whole point of the Clinton Impeachment. I have no problem with a President knowing people in the good, bad and ugly circles, but lying about it..whoa hoss !
