2. This isn't exactly good news, but it's bad for bush . . .

NYT is reporting that the White House was informed by midnight Monday night, August 29, that New Orleans was flooding; that the levees had been breached.

I think they were informed by Homeland Security, whose director, I believe, claimed not to know things were bad in New Orleans until days later.

All this amazing news and it's not even Friday afternoon!

The news today is about a bunch of criminals and what they've done. When the news is about those criminals being taken away in irons, it'll be a good news day. Bad news for Republicans is not "good" news in and of itself for the simple reason that these bastards are in control of the country, and all the news means is that these criminals bastards are still in control of the country.
