VIDEO - "Peaceful Countries" - inspired by the words of George W. Bush
"Democracies are peaceful countries." ~ George W. Bush, October 2005.

Thus, a video juxtaposing his hypocritical statement with imagery about how "peaceful" democracy is:

2. Did you watch my video?
It puts George's foot straight into his mouth. You should watch it if you haven't.

3. Depressing video!
I remember that little "take em out" episode in Fallujah. Weren't those 20 school kids who hid until they thought it was safe to go home? Poor little bastards. Our planes air-bombed them before they could even check who they were.

4. Depressing President!
And I totally agree that the video is depressing. As far as the "take em out" clip goes, I hadn't heard that story about the children. Now I'm really bummed out about that. *sulks*

The truth is so depressing these days, thanks to W. I appreciate your comment.

5. That incident happened during the destruction of Fallujah.

I saw the initial report on MSNBC. Might have been Kevin Sites?? guessing that they were school kids who left school but were hiding in a building until dusk. When they thought it was safe they walked into the open but were quickly spotted by US planes. The pilot alledgedly radioed command hdqtrs for instructions & command - without even asking if they were hostile or not (you can tell on the video they are not) said "take 'em out." One bomb instantly killed all 20 - blowing them to bits leaving no evidence they were children.
I did not see this reported after the first soundbite. Karl must have called the networks immediately. And of course we all know what happened to Kevin Sites.
..

7. Hey, thanks for that info. During the editing of my video
I wanted to use the shot but would have to condense it down to keep the pace of the video moving along. My roommate and I were discussing the movements of the people - they looked peaceful. Now with what you told me, it makes perfect sense.

8. Most of them looked like burkad girls.
But I'm sure Rummy would say they were male insurgents disguised as girls.
