Many Bush supporters live in guilt every day... |
|
They regret what has happened to our once great nation. They can see that the shit has hit the fan. They wonder if we can make it 3 more years? How could they have been so stupid, they ask themselves? It's a lesson too late for the learning. Many are hoping for the day they can redeem their vote.
Of course, the hard right can never see beyond the nose on their face, and they will continue to support and praise the little dictator until death. But, many Republicans in the center cannot wait to get rid of this incompetent little bastard. They will begin to correct course this November. Democrats will sweep the Congress. Bush will become very "bi-partisan" to pretend to work with the new Congress - just like he did as Governor of Texas. They hope we can survive to 2008...

1. But, They after 4 years of the moron in chief, what did they do? |
|
They voted for him a second time. To those regretful people I have only one thing to say: Help us take him down, NOW!

3. They live in guilt because they know they're HYPOCRITES |
|
sanctimonious fakes who are the biggest sinners among us. Worshipping their little tin Jesus in the White House helps them pretend they're on the side of righteousness. Their biggest fear is being found out by the rest of us.
Ha! We already know.
My biggest fear is that the 2006 election is so outrageously corrupt that even moderate pubbies won't be able to hide from the fact that the only way their party, twisted beyond all recognition by the neocons and theocrats, can get into power is by destroying the country they so desperately want to lead. As the cabal gets tighter and tighter, it's going to get crazier and crazier, and more violent.
I sincerely hope they've resigned themselves to a Congress full of conservative Democrats, instead.

4. Oh, well, boo-hoo. I guess I should feel sorry for them, shouldn't I? |
|

I don't. People need to learn to think through the potential consequences of their actions and to deal with the realities created by those actions. They don't deserve anyone's sympathy. Plus, it's pretty fucked up that things have had to get to this level, a level in which those ever-important white, middle class men and women are feeling the pain of Bush's murderous, fascist policies, for those Bush supporters to have developed regret about their votes. They can't truly redeem themselves for the prejudice and the willful ignorance that motivated their desire to support Bush. It doesn't really mean much to me that they now regret the terrible choices they made, considering what awful things their Bush votes say about their character THEN, which was--and probably still is--fundamentally weak, corrupted and vile even if they can "miraculously" see that their votes fucked over their own prosperity.
Quit trolling for support around here, would you? You're just embarrassing yourself. Start taking responsibility for your own sorry behavior if you want us to feel less contempt for your shitty decisions.

5. I don't see too many "guilty" Republicans who are |
|
willing to DO anything or put any money behind changing things. They're only concerned with how they themselves can weather the fabulous remaining Bush years.
There are two main types of Republicans:
1) The Love Jesus & Hate Gays set. 2) The Greedy Narcissist Corporate set.
There may be a paltry few Repugs who wouldn't fit these categories. I challenge these few to come forth now and salvage their party from the criminals who are looting the treasury. Otherwise, there's room here on the other side--the side of the sane and community-oriented.
Correct me if there are Repugs out there who have wised up and are flexible enough to help correct the disastrous course this country is on, because I don't see them. Flexibility is not a Repug trait. The traditional R way is to put blinders on and continue over the cliff.

The racist types who think Dems want to support "Welfare Queens"
My next door neighbor is an example. She thinks the Dems want to give all her tax money to black people, athough she uses another word for them.
Sigh...
