Twice in the same day. Dean blasted Bush, Cheney and Abramoff last night.
He called the Bush administration more corrupt than Nixon when he spoke at the New England Press Association earlier yesterday. He did it again last night.

Howard Dean may not have let out any primal screams last night, but he also didn't disappoint the huge crowd that packed Jimmy's Allenhurst restaurant for the annual dinner of the North Shore Labor Council.

On the one-year anniversary of being named chairman of the Democratic National Committee, the former presidential candidate let loose with a verbal barrage aimed at his favorite targets — President George Bush and the Republican Party.

Dean didn't waste any time trying to link the president to the corruption scandal swirling around Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Although Bush said he doesn't remember ever meeting Abramoff, recent reports have disputed that claim.

"Not only does he have pictures together, but the president appears to know the names of all (Abramoff's) children and he's been out to the ranch," Dean said, drawing laughter and applause from the partisan crowd.

Dean went on to say that since Libby was authorized by his "superiors" to give out classified information, that it would put Cheney in the category of people that Bush said he would fire.

5. To correct him, they must admit to the invite and the friendship..
and the closeness between Abramoff and Bush.

IF he is wrong, then it should be fun to watch them correcting him in all the blogs on the right. There has been so much denial of the pictures and all.. I find this interesting.

7. Howard Dean is unafraid to tell the truth! He was
my choice long ago for President. There is a refreshing moment when one person tells it just as it is. He is not constrained by being polite to Republicans in the House and Senate. We have some Democrats in both houses who also tell the truth, but no one seems to listen. In the last 5 years the administration has taken us from a viable, responsible country into a bankrupt, corrupt and dictatorial government that does as it pleases, to hell with the taxpayers who fund the government. We are loathed by other countries and have escalated "terrorism" to a new high. Everything the administration touches turns to more debt and who knows how long it will take us to get out of it. The media seems to be awakening now, but it may be too late. But all of us have known since before election 2000 what we would be facing. The press has aided and abetted this administration as if doom would not apply to them. Sometimes I think they don't live on the same planet. The lily-livered Republicans who work for the administration in the House and Senate completely disregard the reason they are there. I would like to be optimistic, but it is very difficult. How much more damage will the administration do before someone wakes up?
