Disconnect between net-roots and the Party?
I know I'm not the only one who is feeling it but hey I had a thought.
How often do we actually email the talking points we make or the news stories we find or anything else that gets crafted here on the net to the actual party officials? How often do you or anyone actually send articles or talking points to the DNC, DCCC, DSCC or in of the other D's and C's?

Seriously now answer honestly.

2. Or the DLC themselves
I called them over the filibuster and they seemed surprised to hear from an actual voter, like they don't get calls from us very often.

5. That's our problem
People who prefer to be victims to the system instead of working it. Guess what, WE have money and they know it. They're the DEMOCRATIC Leadership Council, WE are the Democrats. It's time WE put them on notice that they aren't going to get away with pretending to speak for US when they clearly don't. Why keep skirting around the problem, take them on, head on.

3. I've sent things that I wrote to the DNC on occasion.
What was really weird was when a couple days later I read that Dean stated something that I found hauntingly familiar.

Coincidence? Maybe. Even likely. But still interesting.

6. Send it to Dean directly at the DNC
I have great confidence in his leadership.

7. I'm not sure they'd get it
When most of them receive E-mails saying they are doing something wrong, rather than considering the arguments, they seem to turn to one another and say, "We are having a problem with the base on this."

I know many netizens have written the party leaders and asked the party to fight more, and better. Now, the party still spends most of its time on a weak defense, but they yell more.

It might make sense for netizens to put caption notes on the E-mails, "open me on (date two months in the future)." When opened, the E-mails would tell the leaders exactly how they screwed up, after the leaders have already figured it out. Then the leaders might learn to listen.
