NSA question?
The FBI is investigating who leaked to the press the exsistance of *'s domestic spying program. There is talk of a Grand Jury being convened to deal with this issue. Has * suspended whistle blower statutes with out telling anyone? Or is that just another law they are planning to break and deal with the consequences later?

1. Whistleblowing statutes were never the Republican's friends....
.....simply because they have more to blow about. Bush is just a Constitution hating slug!

2. Sibel Edmonds has something today...
... on the effectiveness of whistleblower protections for national security personnel:

This is the Bushies' way of intimidating people from coming forward with additional revelations of wrongdoing, and by emphasizing the role of reporters in those leaks, they're also looking to intimidate the already cowed press:

4. Great link. Thanks.
Sibel deserves to be Woman of the Year. Hell I would even vote for her for President.

3. Since the wiretapping is considered illegal by many, this investigation
will probably be quietly shelved. The bravado will run it's course shortly.

5. I hope you are right.
Them trying to take the offensive and win the news cycle/spin cycle back. Get off their heels. I would like to see a huge house revolt. I would bet there were many threats when the mic was shut off. Trying to hold people in line.
