Supporting Howard Dean: Why it's personal
FYI, I've got a post by that title up at Howard-Empowered People, and
it's crossposted here

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/2/11/21274/6549

Be sure to check out the Kos diary--it's like a Dean campaign family reunion! Since last night there have been a couple new posts at HEP, including Corinne's post " Howard Dean: Promises Kept"

Oh yeah, and we've got a *bat* that needs breaking. (And a great anniversary bat graphic by jc.)

2. It's not just the Dean campaign people....
Edited on Sun Feb-12-06 11:22 AM by guruoo
Where I live, all the hard core activists from each
campaign (Dean, Clark, Kerry, kucinich etc.) that had
worked together during the election pulled together
afterwords to form a local DFA chapter.

Bringing all the campaign people together
allowed us to then take over the local party leadership,
lock, stock, and barrel.

Moral of the story: Inclusiveness has it's advantages.

5. That's been the case in WA state as well
Dean and Kucinich activists have joined both Democracy for Washington and Progressive Democrats of America. Progressive Majority is another popular organization. Can't say we've "taken over," or anything, but our presence is definitely being felt.

7. I support Howard Dean as DNC chair.
I like the job he is doing, and that is coming from a Democrat who supported Clark in the primary.
