WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 /U.S. Newswire/ -- RNC Communications Director Brian Jones responded to Howard Dean's appearance on CBS's Face The Nation with the following statement.

"Chairman Dean delivered his signature mix of pessimistic and wild-eyed rhetoric today. All the Democrat party leader was able to offer were negative and baseless attacks and an agenda that the President and the Republican led congress are already enacting."

1. I hope we're putting out a counter-response.
It is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that these schmucks don't get the last word.

Because the last word is the word that everybody remembers.

2. Again the DLC screws the pooch.
They have an official response to Dean, but where were our responses and talking point to Condi Rice? MIA?
WHO THE HELL IS ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL?
She was on three stations today, lying on each one.
that crap goes unchallanged. The GOP, however, manages to attack Dean with reckless abandon and almost no regard for the truth.

5. Not more DLC FUD
The DLC doesn't dictate to the Republican Party.

The DLC isn't responsible for anything other than the DLC.

The DLC didn't blow up the World Trade Center.

The DLC didn't fake the moon landing in a Hollywood studio to fool the world.

The DLC doesn't have a secret machine to control time and space.

The DLC doesn't run the media.

The DLC is just a social club that does some speechifying and planning.

If we can't deal with the DLC mentally, we are doomed in the face of opposing the Republicans for real.

--p!
FUD (FYI): Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.
