Mayor hasn't met with President Bush despite requests

More than seven months after taking office, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa says he hasn't met or spoken personally with President Bush despite two requests.

Villaraigosa said Friday that his office contacted the White House twice last summer to set up meetings with Bush when the mayor was traveling to Washington, but that the requests were turned down both.
