Blivet's approval rating at 49% per Rasmussen?
I really need a poll to show his true numbers. Any suggestions?

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Bush_Job_Approval.htm

Sunday February 12, 2006--Forty-nine percent (49%) of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.

The President's ratings have been higher over the past week than they were for the week before. However, it is impossible to determine if the current peak reflects lasting change or merely statistical noise.

4. Very good question; is it Rasmussen, or something we're
not aware of?

7. with Ras, substract 10-12 from his figures, and it is a lot more accurate
Ras has been a notorious liar with his numbers.
He pre-selects those he polls, and only counts percentages which guarantees his results. let's say that he calls 1500 people, and 900 admit to being democrats. He will cut their numbers down to 400, while allowing the 600 who admit being GOP, automatically skewing his result. Considering warping the result be design.

13. Rasmussen's record from 2004 speaks for itself.
Edited on Sun Feb-12-06 11:18 PM by tritsofme
-The final, certified, results of Election 2004 show that President George W. Bush received 50.7% of the vote while Senator John Kerry earned 48.3%. Those figures are very close to the final Rasmussen Reports Daily Tracking Poll. We projected the President would win 50.2% to 48.5%.

They also went 24/24 in their state predictions:

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/State%20by%20state%20comparisons%202004.htm

Sure Scott Rasmussen is a Republican, and John Zogby is a Democrat, that doesn't mean either of their methodologies are inherently biased due to political affiliation.

5. I don't even pay Rasmussen any attention
Rasmussen is on the payroll of the GOP, and his polls are just not to be trusted. The same could be said for Democracy Corps, which is run by Stan Greenberg on our side, though they don't pimp their polls as much as Rasmussen does.

9. The thing is, I have this blivet lover hawking his high poll numbers
per Rasmussen, so I have to counter that. Do you have any quick references showing Ras is on the GOP payroll?

6. Other polls do not agree with Rasmussen, however.
Check out these averages:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls.html

I find that Rasmussen is usually 5 points or more above most other polls.

11. The pollsters will probably start elevatng Smirky so that the stolen
elections in the fall don't arouse suspicion. they've now banned exit polls, so fake opinion polls will squelch any inquiries.
