If Whittington had shot Cheney under the same circumstances.
If the lawyer Whittington had accidently shot Cheney under the same circumstances, I wonder if HE would have gone to jail?

7. I would never have thought of this in a million years, but you are
absolutely right.

I don't believe the SS could have jumped in front of CHeney fast enought to take the bullet for him, so the next best thing would be to kill the shooter.

6. Actually, the SS agents probably would have pushed Cheney out of the way
and taken the shot in his place. Sad, but that's what they're trained to do.

I happen to know one of the SS agents who is on the Cheney detail. I'm going to email him to ask if he was there in TX. I doubt, even if he was there on Sat, he will tell me much. Those guys are very tight lipped. So far, all he's ever ttold me about Cheney is that he likes him. He's fun to be around and treats his staff & SS detal very well. And NO, he doesn't know how I feel about Unka Dick!

9. Yeah, but consider how stupid Cheney was:
after all, he SHOT A LAWYER.

Hey, what if Dan Quail had been in the party?
