Where the HELL is the outrage? Cheney shoots a man

And everyone takes the news at face value, and accepts local authority saying CASE CLOSED!!!

Has anyone asked why the fucken' case is closed? We hear of accidental shootings all the time, but I have never heard of case closed? Someone always gets charged with something? No? negligence is usually the charge. Even, parents or grandparents of a shooter usually go to court, they FACE the consequences, no?

Why does Cheney get to shoot a guy, then effectively covers it up for 24 hours or so, then the WH press conference lies about the details...etc. And the country has accepted that the case is closed?

It is wide open people, wide open, I want to know who knew what when? was he drunk? did he get into an argument with the guy? What kind of previous "business" dealings have the two had before Saturday? Did Cheney have a licensee to hunt in Texas? Did the press see a copy? Why does the WH not have all the details ready by today's press conference time? why are they hiding information? what are they NOT telling us.

Why is this too difficult to understand? Cheney SHOT a guy in the FACE, HEAD, and NECK!!! Isn't it the right thing to do, to have all details ready by today?

Where is the fucken' outrage? DOES ANYONE CARE? WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!! ASK QUESTIONS, DEMAND ANSWERS!!!

Its the most common accident in bird hunting. Swinging around beyond the "safe zone of fire" while following the flight of a moving target and shooting someone.

Then you haven't been paying much attention to the world around you. Happens all the time. If the shooting is accidental and the shooter has a license and wasn't breaking any other law, what charges get brought. Someone "always" get charged? Sorry. Not so.

Now, that's doesn't mean that there shouldn't always be an investigation before a determination about bringing/not bringing charges is made. There should alwasy be an investigation. In this case, of course, I suspect that the investigation will consist of asking the few people who were present what happened and when their stories suggest that it was an accident, that will be it. I don't think that the authorities are going to call in the witnesses and give them the third degree.
