7. What would it take to decrease his numbers. I don't think it will ever |

happen. Sometimes I just get SO discouraged.

In the last 2 days I have been reading atricles saying that the GOP are split on the whole NSA wiretapping issue, several Republicans have come out againist it such as Rep. Heather Wilson and Sen. Sam Brownback. and Sen. Arlen Specter said if theres proof that what Bush did was illegal that investigations should take place.
And they that Rep. Peter Hoestra who chairs the house intellgence committee on meet the press saying that he supports the wiretappings but there are useless.
Maybe the GOP would of been divided on the issue if the idiot would of just gotten premission from the FISA court to do it., we do have checks and balances in this country.

11. I'd like to see it get lower |
|
but 39% is pretty damn low. A quarter of the population probably automatically gives the president their approval "just because he's president."
Even when Nixon was on the verge of impeachment and resigned after Watergate, his approval was about 25%.

10. Y'know, I've always wondered about that other 5% |
|
Are they margin of error, or did they just shrug their shoulders when asked, and say "Eh"?
