Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it true that when ever...
there is a shooting involved on private property (or any place) the local police MUST be notified?

From what I've been seeing here at DU, from members in Texas, it doesn't apply under Texas state law.

6. All gunshot wounds are to be reported and
investigated by the local police authority in Texas unless you get shot by BabyBush or CrashCart.

With the media in a tizzy about when "they" knew. They're completely ignoring the fact that police didn't investigate until Sunday. Lots o time to sober up and get the stories straight...

"Let's see... we'll just say he didn't follow hunting 'protocol.'"

"I don't know but it sure sounds good, doesn't it?"

7. I think most places if a doctor attends to someone with a bullet wound he
has to report it to the police. But I think the Secret Servicemen gave him some first aid and told him to 'buck-up'.
