How would you define "Swiftboating"?
My definition is for a veteran or group of veterans trying to undermine the Service of another veteran. Saying the veteran doesn't deserve the respect of the nation. I see references here all the time when someone is being attacked for anything the people say they are being swiftboated. Maybe because I am a veteran I take a little more personally what the Swift Boat LIARS did and tried to do to nother veterans. There has always been accusations and finger pointing in politics but the "Swiftboating" was a new low and it sort of bothers me to see it being sanitized in such a manner. I know "Big Deal" we need to address more important matters but it has been bothering me and I thought I would mention it and see if you all thik I'm totally off my nut...

3. Hello Teammate
Swiftboating - A Verb

When a group of people who once served in the military (can't bring myself to call them veterans) who have no integrity, no heart, no values, no honor, no courage attempt to use a veteran's military service against him in a political way by lying loudly.

Swiftboating has been somewhat successful only because those who use the tactic have a large and ignorant and arrogant audience.

However, I don't believe they will have as great a success with the scum tactic this time around.

Thanks for your service teammate.

4. I'll go Merriam on you
Swiftboating (v): /swĭft-bōt-ĭng/ 1) Character assassination for hire. 2) Mercenary lying in lieu of substance (see "GOP").

5. I would love to "talk" to one of them
I also am a veteran and I despise how the GOP uses a man's service to ridicule him. I would love more than anything right now to see someone wearing one of their cute little purple heart bandaids. I would have a "talk" with them...
