Was Cheney hunting or killing?
Mike Malloy brought up an interesting point last night in the difference between hunting for sport and outright killing. I am not trying to have a gun control debate or a debate on hunting. But was Cheney in a car shooting quail, or a lawyer in this case? Or was he actually hunting, on foot?

Also, this blind spot argument is baseless. How do you hunt and just shoot whenever you hear something? Does a 78 year old guy look like a quail? Maybe to the Cheney monster. Something smells funny.

1. I thought I read yesterday that they had just been in a car ...
... or something like that. Sorry, no citation, and I hesitate to post without one, but the article left me with the feeling that they had been riding around looking for stuff to kill. No planned, methodical, calculated, "let's outwit our prey" effort, just riding around killin'.

2. And I imagine the Cheney household eats all that quail, too.

4. I'm sure Cheney was on foot...
there's video footage of him walking around on other hunts. Why would this one be any different? Also, yes, they did eat all the quail they shot. In fact, they ate it for lunch the very next day while Whittington was in the hospital. Seriously.

6. I'm a hunter, and let me tell you...
...what cheney was doing is not hunting, more like ritualized slauter of domesticated game birds.
