what's Whittington's story. he can't possibly be clean or he wouldn't be in the bubble.

1. Nah..Cheney's got "dustbusters"
to clean up his messes. Although I agree that the story as it's being presented to us is not passing the smell test, I don't think it was a "whack".

3. Dead-eye Dick sending a message Sopranos style
The trip has a bit of a Sopranos feel to it even if he did not shoot him intensionally.

Whittington probably knows where to find a few skeletons. I would not put much past Dead-eye Dick.
