First, allow me to say I am in no way, shape or form hoping, wishing, or wanting this man to die. I truly hope he will be okay.

However, the man is 78 years old, has bird pellet in his heart, and just had a heart attack. There is added risk of infection and complications like a clot forming so he is hardly out of the woods in terms of his recovery.

If he would die, would Cheney face manslaughter charges? Criminal negligence charges? I don't know Texas law with this regard. I'm just curious to know what exactly would occur.

2. Wouldn't happen...
Whittington would simply claim it is his fault.

4. Probably nothing.
It would be deemed an unfortunate accident, people would be bought off and that would be the end of it. Anyone who would try to bring charges against Cheney would be destroyed.

9. Might be difficult since the victim already said he was shot by accident..
and he even told law enforcement that it was HIS fault,
not Cheneys.

6. Who cares - it wasn't a blowjob
That's how this administration and republicans work.

Whittingham could die or sustain life changing injuries and as long as no sex of the oral kind was involved all is forgiven

7. He already got a slap on the wrist for not having a bird stamp or
duck stamp or whatever it was. That'll be it no matter what happens to the wounded guy.

11. Penal Code in Texas doesnt recognize "accidental" death, meaning...
this would be criminal according to Abrams report interviewee's. Texas prosecutor and criminal defense attorney specializing in Texas law say VP would be liable for Criminal Negligence...

This just got reported now. All acknowledged that if Whittington dies, Cheney would be in much deeper trouble.
