4. I Think Cheney Lost It, Myself

I think he took offense and shot the man purposefully. Everything he did after reinforces that suspicion.

There is no way that one scandal will obliviate another--not any more. There are too many outstanding scandals, and no time to cool down between them. It's rather like an Ice Age, when the bad effects multiply themselves and the face of the world changes.

Rove is not some demi-god. He is a sneaky little shit whose lack of shame along with right-wing corruption has allowed him to manipulate the system. His 15 minutes is just about up and then he will join Dick Morris and all of the other political hacks on the sidelines.

7. I don't think the shooting was expected but it sure is turning out

to be a great diversion.

The fact that the entire administration and even Jeb Bush are now joining in on the Cheney joke bandwagon makes me think Rove is involved now. He made it clear to them all that this was better news than Iran, Iraq, warrantless wiretapping, torture....

I expect to see them all in hunters orange at the next public appearance with Cheney. Making people laugh is much better than making people think right now.
