Reid "huffs and puffs"...
...and demands a closed session of Congress.
BFD
It all pales now with the Hackett debacle.

So tell us Harry...when is Part II of those "investigations" into the pre-war intelligence usage going to happen?
You really showed them tough guy...didn't ya?

That little pasty freak, along with Schumar, need to get their heads out of their asses.
They lost us '06 with their freakshow.

So nice to have a frail, pale, and high pitched leader/spokesperson isn't it folks?
Do the Dems know anything about packaging a complete message?
Do they understand how middle America thinks?
By forcing out Hackett I'd say a big HELL NO!

I cringe every time Reid gets upset and whines on camera.
He has terrible on-screen presence.
And they say Hackett lacks proper "decorum" for the Senate.

Fuck I am pissed at the Dem leadership.

:grr: :grr: :grr: :nuke:

2. Did Waxman...
..tell donors to stop giving to Hackett?
Did the Dem leaders start a "swiftboat" type whisper campaign accusing Paul of being a war criminal?

They need to be asked, point blank.

3. Reid has been pissing us off lately
saying he's going to take a stand, but then wishy-washing himself out of it.
hmmmm, Time to send a message that he may be "Liebermaned" out of the party?
Time to publicly say "put up or shut up and retire"?
maybe Harry's in too deep

4. We need a new leader, that's for sure.
If Harry had kept the momentum going after his closure of the senate, it would have been one thing, but he slipped back to being Casper Milquetoast. He seemed really put out by the attempt at the Alito filibuster by Kerry and Kennedy. In addition, he hasn't, IMHO, adequately addressed the charges his aides were in contact with Abramoff's office followed by receipt of tribal money. I've defended him on this because the tribes and gambling interests are his constituents, but it needs to be addressed before the "liberal" media twists it any more.

6. Count me..
... as agreeing with you 100%.

This party needs some creative destruction. We can play Machiavellian when it comes to internal politics, but when it comes to taking on the Repubs we are pissants.

8. Hackett QUIT and blamed everyone else in a burst of Nixonian self-pity
"they say Hackett lacks proper "decorum" for the Senate"
Which is a polite way of saying he's a blowhard, and that his positions on issues like immigration and gun control appear to be pulled out of his ass and are indistinguishable from loonies like Tom Tancredo.

10. Bullshit.
Hackett wasn't setting Ohio on fire. He was 20 points down in the polls and had raised a tenth of what Brown had raised....and there was nothing anybody did in the last few days that made him such a flop. He brought that on himself.

11. Perhaps
he might have raised more dollars had they not snuck in behind his back and asked doners to pull their funds?

13. GRASS ROOTS MY ASS
FIRST AND FOREMOST; IT'S NOT A LACK OF GRASSROOTS SUPPORT IN HACKETT'S CORNER. IT IS THE LACK OF SUPPORT FROM THE OLD BOYS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND THE FACT THAT THE REPUBLICAN'S LAUNCHED A GIANT SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST HACKETT WITH MONEY FLOODING IN FROM THE GRAND OLD PHUCKS.

THE SMEAR CAMPAIGN ATTACKED HACKETT ON THE BASIS THAT HE WAS A "TAX & SPEND LIBERAL" AND SO THE KNUCKLE DRAGGING, I AIN'T GOIN' TA BE TAXED TO DEATH, SOCCER PARENTS WHO DRIVE THEIR SUBURBAN'S AND HUMVEE'S AND GO HUNTIN' AND LIVE IN THE CUL DE SAC CROWD, BUY INTO THIS IDIOTIC MYTH.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE NOT READ, SEEN OR HEARD REAL NEWS IN SO LONG THAT THE PABLUM THEY INGEST ON A DAILY BASIS PLACATES THESE NEOPHYTES.

WE WATCHED THE SAME THING HAPPEN HERE IN SAN DIEGO DURING THE MAYORAL ELECTION. A RELATIVELY UNKNOWN, ALBIET FORMER POLICE CHIEF AND BIZ TYCOON, REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE, JERRY SANDERS, MAGICALLY APPEARED AND USED THE EXACT SORT OF MEDIA BLITZ AGAINST DONNA FRYE, ALL THE WHILE HE WAS BACKED BY BIG G.O.P. DOLLARS. DONNA WAS FUNDED BY 100% GRASSROOTS MONEY COLLECTED BY DOOR TO DOOR AND PRINT ADS.

SAN DIEGO HAS BEEN RAPED BY OUR LOCAL LEADERSHIP FOR SO LONG, NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE OR WHEN THE PENSION FUND SCANDAL BEGAN. WHAT WE DO KNOW IS SOMEHOW WE HAVE TO EITHER PONY UP THE DOUGH OR LOSE ACCESS TO CLEAN BEACHES, DRIVE THROUGH POTHOLE INFESTED SURFACE STREETS, DRINK CHLORINE INSTEAD OF WATER AND LOSE OUR STATUS AS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES IN AMERICA... NOT GOOD FOR OUR FIRST AND FOREMOST FORM OF INCOME; TOURISM ---

OR DO WHAT DONNA FRYE WANTED TO DO: ADD A 1/2 CENT SALES TAX AND KEEP OUR LIFESTYLE IN TACT.

DUE TO THE BULLSHIT CAMPAIGN, YOU CAN GUESS, SANDER'S IS NOW THE MAYOR. THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE PENSION FRAUD FIASCO WILL BE CLOSE TO 2 BILLION DOLLARS. NOW SANDERS HAS TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THIS MONEY WILL COME FROM.

HACKETT COULD NOT STAY IN A RACE UNLESS HE HAD THE BACKING OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, IF NOT IN DOLLARS, IN GOOD-WILL.

WHEN I RECEIVED AN EMAIL YESTERDAY FROM THE DEMS, ASKING ME FOR YET ANOTHER DONATION I WROTE THE FOLLOWING:

Today I received another email asking me to contribute to my party, the Democrat's. I have to say, I will not give another dime to this political party. Why? I am disgusted with the advice given to Paul Hackett to pull out of the Ohio race for Senator.

Hackett is exactly the type of person the Dems need to pull us out of the dregs of the political world, he has integrity, honesty and contains the vital, life-blood that our party so desperately needs.

Is it because of Hackett's ability to lead the state of Ohio out of the dark ages that he was advised by a couple of morons to step aside so someone with less of a spine can perhaps win a much needed seat in the Senate? Or are you trying to hand another election over to the despicable Republican's?

Are you people insane or did you just go off your meds for the past few years?

Democrat's across America are outraged that such a fine man is being passed over and unceremoniously abandoned by his own people.

Shame on you, you are supposed to be the solution not the problem.

You can send them your own nasty gram: https://www.democrats.org/page/s/contact
