1. Sure he is. Thing is....
He's gotta show up sooner or later.

Letting it percolate doesn't help a thing.

2. Rumsfeld also canceled a one o'clock press conference ...
... citing a 'scheduling conflict', even though it had been scheduled for a while.

As some hairdo just said on CNN, with the release of the new Abu Ghraib photos (on Aussie TV last night), it was an 'awkward time' for Rummy to face the press ...

3. You'd think it'd be the perfect time to dispute the
pics and his personal involvement. I guess he's running out of excuses.

5. Several CNN 'dos used the term ...
... and 'awkward time' or 'an inconvient time' for those photos to have gotten out to the public.

I wonder what they would consider to be 'a convenient time' or 'the perfect time' to do so?

Also speculated on the 'reaction' these photos would get in the Muslim world. Hmm, gee, I wonder ...

I don't know what Scotty gets paid, but whatever it is, it isn't enough for what he does. The soul market in hell must be way up.

7. McClellan felt the heat yesterday, or at least it looked that way to me!
I don't know what's up with no news conference today and Reumsfeld canceling out.

8. They are trying to come up with a new strategy...
They have lost control of the media....They have so many issues to deal with they have to get their talking points together.

The fact that Cheney chose to notify a small newspaper instead of the White House Press Corp.

They made a mistake....They shouldn't have pissed off the press...the press knew they were being jerked around previous to the shooting incident....And now the press is out for blood!!

Some Republicans are starting to break away from the pack because of the elections this year!!
