It seems to me that Darth Cheney will make an EXCELLENT target for all Dems to campaign on over the few months remaining until the elections of '06.

The Democrats should take the "wolves in the forest" GOP commercial that ran during the '04 elections and alter it just a bit to fit the Cheney shooting incident. I see the commercial as starting off the same as in '04 with the scary music and a camera slowly moving through a thick snow covered forest. The camera catches movement through the trees and then a pack of wolves begins to emerge from off camera. Then a loud burp is heard and an empty beer can is thrown down in the cameras view. Someone is heard urinating off camera and then a zipper is pulled up and a voice coming from the forest says "Hey Dick, I just found my...BLAMMO"! The camera swings around to find a very old man wearing bright orange falling to the ground spewing blood on the white snow. A voice over at the end of the commercial could say "Is it any wonder that BushCo. missed Osama? Vote for a straight shooter, vote for (insert Dem candidate name here).
