one is compelled to conclude that the dlc defenders aren't very interested in the subject matter... that explains why they are never on the scene helping out with calls to action, like the Defeat Alito Filibuster campaign a few weeks ago - i don't recall one single dlc defender player involved that action.. maybe i inadvertently missed them?

someone can correct me if i'm wrong...

You seem to be trying to say something without really saying it.

That could be why you're not getting much response.

I will say this, from my own perspective though. When I was young in the 60's and 70's, I consumed a lot of conspiratorial theories, beginning with the Autobiography of Malcolm X.

I also grew up in a family and community that was right at the intersection of the Military Industrial Complex. So I got to know a lot of people who could easily be considered as being "in on it all."

I finally came to the conclusion that our problems are more systemic than the result of any well-choreographed conspiracy.

I don't deny that there are bastids in power who will do some rotten things, nor do I deny that there are individual conspiracies that sometimes arise.

But I think it's more a matter of systemic institutionalized processes combined with the ,misguided mentality of people on the inside who think they are doing the right thing.

It's a topic that is fertile for discussiuon and debate.
