Does Ned Lamont have any chance of ousting Lieberman
in the Connecticut Democratic primary? I'd like someone knowledgeable from Connecticut to respond. Because if he does, I'll give Lamont more money than the $100.00 I've already pledged.

1. Well, Lieberman was just on t.v. SUPPORTING the sale of the ports
Mr. Lamont should be able to use this tidbit to push himself up further up in the polls.

3. Depends upon how much money Lieberman takes from both the RNC
and the DLC.

4. Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I'll predict that LaMont wil defeat
Holy Joe in the primary and go on to win the election.

A blue wave is going to sweep Lieberman into deep obscurity. He's playing footsie with the Bush agenda too often and too long, and I'm hoping Connecticut Dems roll the old fool.

5. With our help
Lamont can do it! Matt Stoller has a great post about Lamont at mydd.

As always - money talks. Even small amounts add up and getting rid of Lieberman should be a priority, imho.

6. I know that some Greenwich Repugs are very angry with Lieberman.
Now these Repugs are more like the old Rockefeller Repugs than the Southern Fundie types...and they are worried about our Debt and Bush's policies. Lieberman did have an old "union" base in the Dem party...but most of those jobs are gone. I think that's the only way he passed as a Dem ...was his union support and he played that up big time when he ran as VP with Gore.

But, his behavior since is causing his strong Repug support to erode there. At least that's what our Repug Lawyer friend said... They live in Greenwich.
