Once he realized he was losing the young crowd, he bought in and became the right winger's "smart" comic. It happened right after 9/11, with his HBO show "The Raw Feed". I recorded it eagerly, since I was a huge Miller fan up to that point. Calling it a letdown isn't even correct. It was like a punch in the gut.
