realized he could not beat Paul Hackett in the Primaries and chose to use swift boat tactics and his D.C insider pals to eliminate him from the field. Ultimately, I believe Brown has damaged his chances of beating DeWine now due to his slithering skills verses his old reputation of being a fighting progressive.
He was afraid of fighting in the Primaries on his own merit. I actually think the Primaries would of given the winner an edge on DeWine by getting into the media....Speaking of media...Brown never gets any gigs......not good going up against an incumbent in November. Hackett has been out there nationally since July! Folks in West Central and Southwestern Ohio don't even know Brown. I bet they know Hackett in Toledo, Akron, Youngstown, Portsmouth and Cleveland!
