5. We did not allow a ship full of Jews to disembark prior to US entry WWII..
I believe the name of the ship was "Liberty". I am not sure if it was US ship or not. ...Oscar

8. The State of Israel actually attacked the USS Liberty off
its coast in what it claimed was a case of mistaken identity. It remains a controversial incident even today.
