What state has the lowest rate of divorce? Why, that would be liberal Massachussetts, with 2.4%.

Highest rate?

Here's the Top Ten:

State/Raw number/Rate
Kentucky/22,211/5.8 (tie)
Arizona/23,725/5.8 (tie)
Florida/82,963/5.9
New Mexico/9,882/6.0
Idaho/7,075/6.2 (tie)
Alabama/26,116/6.2 (tie)
Indiana/***/6.4
Wyoming/3,071/6.5
Tennessee/34,167/6.6
Oklahoma/21,855/6.7
Arkansas/17,458/7.1
Nevada/13,061/9.0

Hmmmm ..... not a blue state among them.

How about by religion?

Religion/% have been divorced
Jews/30%
Born-again Christians/27%
Other Christians/24%
Atheists, Agnostics/21%

Damn. Score another one for the rational people.

How about areas of the country? Aw go on ... take a guess. :)

Area/% are or have been divorced
South/27%
Midwest/27%
West/26%
Northeast/19%

Mind you ..... I'm not condemning divorce. If I were, it would be a self-condemnation. No ... the issue is that divorce is one of those things 'they' think we liberals do .... cuz we're sex-crazed and without morals.

I'll compare my morals ..... and yours ..... and yours, and yours ..... to 'theirs' any old day of the week.

1. But, but, but...
Libruls don't get married, they move in together and fornicate so they don't need to divorce...:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

Nah, I don't think they are that smart to come up with an answer like that.

2. Well...
Don't know bout fortnorkin'...but I avoided two divorces myself by 'test-driving' potential mates by living with them.
Lots cheaper when it comes time to split up that way and we're still on friendly speaking terms.
