Who would have thought there would be civil war in Iraq?
- Who would have thought Hamas would win an election?
- Who would have thought the levees would break?
- Who would have thought brownie was doing a heckuva job?
- Who would have thought Iraqi Oil revenues will pay for the war?
- Who would have thought we'd be greeted with flowers?
- Who would have thought the POTUS did not know about a deal with a foreign country to protect our ports until after the deal was done?
- Who would have though the VPOTUS would get drunk and shoot a man in the face and then be enabled to do it again by the right wing base?

WHO DA A THUNK IT? And some of my "conservative" acquaintances think my views on republicans are irrational. Shame on me!

3. Shock is seeing before and after pics of the shrine
Beautiful gold dome then hulk of concrete. Pics are hard to find on the net possibly because of a Pentagon special op, but local newspaper had them and it is a shock. Civil war begins.

6. It looks like "civil war" is being used more since that bombing...
and the aftermath. Looks like a lot more Iraqis are going to needlessly die over this.

4. To answer your first question...everybody who marched in the
streets around the world in February 2003. Anybody who had ever read anything about Iraq over a 25 year span.

5. I just came across a blog called "Nobody Could Have Predicted..."
http://nobodycouldhavepredicted.blogspot.com /

Nobody Could Have Predicted...

A tribute to Condoleeza Rice and George W. Bush who, despite voluminious evidence to the contrary, said, "I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile," adding that "even in retrospect" there was "nothing" to suggest that" and "I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees," respectively.
