How many of Shrub's friends are going to profit from the port sale?
I've already heard about how Secretary Snow's former company, CSX, recently sold a portion (or all) of its port activities to, guess who, DP World and that the current deal to turn over control of the ports was approved by the Department of Treasury. Couldn't possibly be that approval of DP's take over was ever discussed during talks on the CSX sale? Nah. That would be improper, if not illegal.

:sarcasm:

So, setting aside whether security will be at risk, how many of *'s friends at going to get richer because of this inside deal?

:argh:

1. In a related question, why are corporations that outsource and....
off-shore eligible for government contracts. Why is Halliburton even eligible for one?

To quote/modify Carville, "It's the cronyism, stupid."

4. Well, there are seven of 'em, right off the bat

These seven despots own everything in the UAE, and they run the show. I'm sure they'll kick some of the profit back to BushCo....it's how business is done...you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours!
