where he does a "few good shows" then turns back into a "Media Whore" and he's like a Vampire who sucks your activist blood out and then goes back to his coffin.

ONE DAY IN THE SUN and M$M...Moves your coffin.

Lou Dobbs is on "borrowed time" ....he's had a couple of "Sundowns" and will they PULL THE PLUG ON TRUTHOUT?

1. KoKoO1, you are not a Dobbs fan, that's clear. That's OK.
But we'll take his support here. Lou is genuinely pissed at what Bush is doing. His voice is starting to crack. Let's not spit on those who support us. If you can stand it, check out Limbaugh's site. Doing Rove's heavy lifting, yet again, and claiming "courage" in doing it. O'Reilly? The same, of course. Lou also has Jack Cafferty on - the Ultimate Curmudgeon, who I admire.

5. You are KIDDING ME! The last few NIGHTS HE's ON FIRE...I love his
BODY....I LOVE HIS STAFF WHO ARE RESEARCHING LIKE DU'S...I LOVE HIS SOUL I LOVE EVERYTHING HE'S DOING..

BUT...I'm so scared he's going to "wimp out on us" when his family is threatened by the Bushies or maybe it's just a scam...

Can you get where I'm coming from, here? We've seen Chris Matthews seem to be getting our Dem Message out and then he has "One Night On in Support" and the rest of the month he SHILLS FOR BUSH.

Shouldn't we feel SHELL SHOCKED at this point?

Who should we trust?

I think you read me wrong......

6. No, I share your fear. Tweety, Russert (ugh) and mostly, Woodward.
They have all turned against us. The Washington Post could not have been a more enthusiastic cheerleader for war. The New York Times had Judy Miller. Now even David Gregory has apologized to that POS Scott McClellan (big disappointment). I am with you, my friend, but I do hold out hope for Lou. We all have to believe in something. Sometimes, our heroes don't have clay feet. Sometimes.

2. Wasn't Dobbs one of the founders of CNN?
Or at least one of the original anchors.

He may be too entrenched to fire.

3. I think Lou's doing a great job lately!
I have reservations about him, but he's been riding the Bush Administration for months now, it seems. I believe his anger is genuine. I'll bet he feels betrayed like so many others. He's in a position to share his opinions, and he's doing it.

In this case, it's bad for Bush.

I'm thankful for Lou and Jack Cafferty right now. They are even keeping ole Wolf Blitzer in check.

I think Lou's show is fairly highly rated, CNN sure promotes it a lot, so I doubt CNN would take the chance of losing him.

4. Dobbs is an "old-style" Republican if he's one at all
He's a capitalist but he respects work over wealth. He understands that to be pro-business, you really SHOULD be pro-labor (since if you treat your labor force well, you'll get more loyalty and productivity out of them and you want a strong middle class to be consumers of your products). I used to be skeptical of him but he is genuinely appalled by the way this administration has shipped jobs overseas and driven people into poverty while at the same time rewarding the rich who put profit before country (hence today's question).

7. He is not on our side. . .
. . .he is an OBJECTIVE journalist who leans to the RIGHT. I think TOO MANY DUers are looking for people to FOR OR AGAINST us, but they are not. I appreciate it when Lou Dobbs bashes Bush, but he will praise when he see fits and from an ideological point of view he is not on our side on so many issues. I don't hate him, I don't like him I appreciate him and believe we should spend more time appreciating good journalists and realize that sometimes they will say things we agree with and sometimes they will say things we don't agree with.

9. Thanks, I'm not really all that bad if you get to know me. . .
. . .I just happen to be strong willed, opinionated and not one to back down from a fight.
