Why shoud NATO get involved? Has the Sudanese military attacked a NATO member? Have the rebels attacked a NATO member?
This is a UN problem, in other words all member states should be providing the needed assistance, in both material and man power. All BushCo wants to do is to make NATO the whipping boy, while US forces prepare for a possible attack on Iran.

I don't care what umbrella organization does it, so long as it's done as Humanitarian Action and it gets done.

I'd rather have my tax money going toward helping out in that region than wasted on a Halliburton boondoggle in Iraq.
