Democrats need to think of their agenda in case they win back the House
Because, from my perspective, it looks like many Republicans are finally losing their appetite for this Republican disaster, and especially the Bush Administration. It's just a hunch but one that Democrats should prepare for, I think.

What should be their position on the Iraq War and its funding? Without funding, it will die on the vine. All spending originates in the House.

What should be their position on investigations? What should be investigated? How should it be done? No doubt, the people deserve some answers from their representatives and their government.

How should they work with the Executive Branch? Will Bush be more conciliatory once he knows he no longer controls the whole ballgame? Will he resort back to his "bi-partisan" method as he did when he was Governor of Texas?

What should be the first items on the agenda? Help for the victims of Hurricane Katrina? Saving Social Security? Stabilizing our hemorrhaging deficits and debts?

bad parts. Get donations, get elected, stay elected. It will be this way until we have public campaign financing.

2. Time for Dems to get testacle fortitude
I hear ya' about its time for the Democrats to make a move! How many openings do these castrated SOB'S need before they uppercut the NeoCons.

Seriously, this lay back and fence sittin' tactic of the Dems makes me want to BARF!

The Neocon SOB'S know this and leave themselves open for any type of Knock Out Shot from any political party!

What ya' think - about time the Democrats punk slap these maggot SOB'S? I sure as hell would love to see them kick all those Neocon, chickenhawk azz's!

They sure as hell had their openings but sat on the fence like free-ken clay birds!

Never going to win or gain anything that way and the "SHRUBBIE'S" know it!

Hang Tough~

4. The Dems will
need to have an agenda to take back the House. No matter how badly Bush has bungled, and it's been plenty, the Dems are not going to stumble back into a majority in the House.

They need to give the public a reason to vote for them as opposed to against Bush and the Repukes. Otherwise people will think "better the evil that we know than the one we don't". In other words, they won't know where the Dems will be leading them, while they know where Bush is going, and hell, they're still doing all right. Otherwise, they would have voted Dem last time.

5. One Issue... One Issue Only, should matter mid-term
Impeach Bush!
Promise to push impeachment, you get my support.
No other issue matters, this time around.

7. I believe that an "impeach Bush" strategy would get politicians
elected in 2006. Bush is very unpopular. He only has a majority in seven states.

6. The Dems agenda is to start cleaning up the mess that has been
caused by the Republican corruption. What else could the agenda be?

8. I think the LAT did a story about this a few weeks ago...
Asked several Democratic chairs what they will do if they regain majority.

The answer I remember most vividly: We are going to extend the work week to make sure we get all the investigations done that need doing. :)

Don't know if I saved the link, I'll check.
