Bush and his government
Have others noticed since this DP World ports deal broke that in many of Georges statements he keeps referring to what his government will or will not do?

Makes me uncomfortable.

1. I saw a clip on TV a couple of days ago and he referred to
"my government". Sure brought me to attention. I don't like him using that phrase. It makes me think he's up to something.

3. Yep
He's been saying things like that for a long time. Lots of me, me and me! "I've gotta mandate!" He has all the makings of a dictator. Of course, that's what they wanted all along anyway. See the Project for a New American Century Document. http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm

4. And did anyone else notice Gonzo Gonzales ...
... when being questioned (as always, not under oath) by members of Congress on the wire-tapping - two different times, he said, "WE always welcome your SUGGESTIONS."

First of all, what's up with the use of the royal 'WE'?

Secondly, since when is it Congress's job to 'suggest' things to the executive branch?

WTF?

Oh that happened when they merged into the executive branch, right after the 04 elections.

6. The other day on The Situation Room.....
.....there was an exchange between Wolf Blitzer and Cafferty. Wolf Blitzer repeated the "His Government" line and Cafferty corrected him saying, "No it's not his government". Then Wolf insisted it was Bush's government and at that point Cafferty said, "It's our government. For the people, by the people. Wolf, it's our government." Shut Wolf Blitzer right up too. I love it!!!!!!! :toast:

7. Yeah, it's his administration, our government
I think he believes that if he repeats that mantra often enough, it will be true. We, on the other hand, are attempting to keep it from coming true. Fight on!
