My letter to Meet The Press, 2/26
Oh, gee whiz, the issue of port security affects us all, Democrat, Republican, Independent, WHATEVER!

So, the guests today were 3 Republicans? Can someone other than Ahnold, Warner & King have an opinion on our "homeland" security, someone that perhaps doesn't have an "R" after their name?

Yes, yes, they are our elected officials. Yes, yes, I am not a Republican. Yes, yes, I am a political junkie, which is a strange thing for a Registered Nurse to be. But, I work at St. Vinnies in NYC & I saw first hand what 9/11 did, as did many other NYers & some how they STILL managed to vote Democrat in the last Presidential election.

Perhaps you could find it in your heart to keep that in mind for next Sunday's Dance of the Talking Heads?

Pretty Please?

1. Given that Democrats are stronger on Natl Security
you would think they would include at least one.

Good letter.

6. I purposely didn't link to Media Matters
I just followed the link to their site & wrote to them directly, for what it's worth...

3. Ordinarily, I'd be really pissed about that panel.
However, those three were so incredibly boring, they probably drove a bunch of people over to our party. :)

11. Had same thought during show
More excuses than a 5 year old. Maybe the dead heads out in tv land will notice how pitiful their explainations were.

4. Russert gave the floor to the Republicans.
Warner and King are a couple of whores, on this issue as everything else. In the end, we all know they will acquiesce to the WH under the appropriate pressure applied to them.

7. wasn't he though?
He said the 45-day investigation which BTW is REQUIRED BY LAY should do the trick. He made it pretty clear - at least to me - that he will back down.

This ANTI-port deal rhetoric is all a dog and pony show by Republicans who realize it is a LOSING issue for Dim Son and their entire party. I don't believe for a minute any of them actually gives a rat's ass about national security.

RNC - party of phonies and hypocrites.

13. It was the most boring MTP I have ever seen
I wonder if Tim agrees. We'll never know, probably, but it really was BAD. And bad for a Sunday morning political talk show means BORING.

Do you suppose it was just a coincidence that it was boring because it was all Republicans? Or are we getting a message here?

AWnold was AWful. He seems to think everything is about himself.

Bad programming, Tim. Better take your producer to the proverbial woodshed.
