Is anyone in this nation w/authority even questioning Bush's mental state? |
|
Jesus Christ just when I thought Bush couldn't get any more sickening, he proves me completely wrong.
I just flipped on the news before heading out to work and he's on there speaking live to the Governors. It's the first time in a while that I forced myself to look at his demonic face on TV. Anyway, he starts out with his usual garbage about how he wishes he could say the war on terrorism is over, but it isn't, and we need to be scared, really scared, because there are so many dangerous people who'd like to hurt us...so 'we have got to stay on the offensive so we don't have to fight 'em here at home, and how we're also spreading democracy & freedom, and blah blah blah. Then the shithead starts losing it, and goes off on some kind of a Sam Kenison routine, promptly increasing his banter into some kind of a half-wild hysterical pitch, all the while looking NOTHING like a president, but more like a crazed inmate of some mental institution who's completely lost the ability to think rationally.
Is there anyone out there in the real world who's even questioning his mental state.....his sanity? Is there anyone with authority who's looking into this?
This guy has completely lost it. I really don't think he's acting stupid or nonsensical on purpose for reasons of politics. All joking aside, I think there's a strong possibility that this man is very very sick as in mentally sick. Someone really should address this possibility and get this man to a doctor before he does us all in. Bush has completely lost it, and he really does need to be relieved of his duties so he can get treatment for his obvious mental difficulties. I don't care who takes over for him while he's in treatment, just as long as SOMEONE does.

He is a simpleton in a very complex job and he is failing miserably. Mommy and Daddy can't protect him completely. As more and more evidence comes out about the crimes this * cabal has committed the more and more you are going to see him ramble.
I want him prosecuted for crimes against this country, war profiteering and crimes against humanity. I don't want him to get off for having mental daisies.
Oh by the way, thanks for sitting and suffering through the televised event...Thanks for taking one for the DU team. Heres to you:toast:

HEAVY psych drugs, in fact.
And from the looks of him, he's frequently noncompliant!!!!!
For a guy who is supposedly Mister Physical Fitness, I wouldn't want to be the man's doctor--that has to be the WORST job in the world....

6. It was glaringly obvious during his series of debates with Kerry.. |
|
I'm not a mental health professional by any means, but the man is clearly not right in the head. He's got more personalities than Sybil. He's got to be on some heavy duty anti-psychotics just to be able to function. And nope, I've never heard anyone in the mainstream media bring it up EVER.

9. More personalities than Sybil . . . |
|
. . . I agree. He's spooky. Makes the pit of my stomach tighten up--never a good sign.
If I live to be a hundred, I'll never understand how a sane person could have watched those debates . . . and still voted for this nutcase.
And no, nobody in the MSM dares bite the hands that feed them. They know he's crazy, but their sycophancy is so profound . . . that they must be crazy too.
Welcome to DU, BTW. :hi:

17. Especially the first debate. Amazing how the media could ignore and |
|
even spin - hell, Kerry's own people spun the debate as a tie. Bush appeared incompetent at best, yet no body commented on the naked emperor. Instead he was "re-elected." God help us.

...desparate need of treatment in a nice heavily guarded... umm... protected... jail.. umm... psych hospital... somewhere. ;)
It would be interesting to observe the type of behavior you described first hand. If there's a clip of this out there I'd like to see it. Since we don't have jack for TV stations up here and no satellite for now I've missed seeing his recent mental decline.

10. He has a history of drug abuse |
|
with cocaine and alcohol. I don't know what the long term effects of cocaine abuse are, but alcohol abuse can lead to extreme mental deterioration and even dementia. Couple that with the stress of being President, the prescription drugs he's taking for stress, and the fact that many think he has gone back to abusing alcohol, and anything could be possible.

11. Yes, for some time now, but hushed up by MSM |
|
The rumours of Bush drinking again, his mood swings and tantrums, the bubble that he inhabits seems to screen out the bloody obvious. These have been remarked upon by WH staffers and surprise, surprise none of this whispering campaign has been aired in the press or TV news in America.
There have been a few reports in the foreign press about Bush Jr's mental state. IIRC there was a story a couple of years ago where a clinical psychologist was asked to profile Bush using reports from WH staffers accounts of Mr Bush's behaviour. The conclusion was he was exhibiting all the classic signs of a dry drunk in denial (ie an alcholic that has stopped drinking but hasn't really admitted that he has a problem). This might not seem like such a big deal but the psychologist seemed to suggest that he shouldn't be in such an important govt. position if he had longstanding mental problems that would be exacerbated by extremely stressful situations.

30. Good point. I recommend "Downfall" on DVD |
|
for anyone's who's interested in this.
Fascinating movie, shows how Hitler was still ranting about "Total Victory" from his bunker in the ruins. Then when he realised it was all over he blamed it all on the German people and said they deserved to be destroyed. Shows how one man's ego and "will to power" really can be bigger than an entire nation.

I really think it's only going to be a matter of time before some brave Congressman, Democrat or Republican...I don't care who, suggests at the very least that Bush gets checked into a mental clinic for treatment ASAP. This goes way beyond incompetent.

Sometimes I worry that they think we're all that nutty. Some of the other posters here have pointed out what's most likely the real problem - long history of drugs and alcohol and inadequate treatment. Maybe something like Korsakov's syndrome, who knows.

can go on for a long time before they crack. They can take a lot of stress because they lack empathy for others and so have no guilty conscience. When challenged they will often continue to plow Full Steam Ahead in the wrong direction. They are vindictive and spiteful at the slightest opposition.
I'd love it if Dubaiya would just completely lose it one day, have a big tantrum and quit.
