AFP Photos: New Jersey Longshoremen continue to show Junior their cojones

Longshore workers protest the takeover of six US port operations by Dubai Ports World, at the the Port Newark Container Terminal in Newark, New Jersey. Workers at the second-busiest US port rallied against its takeover by a Dubai-based firm, accusing the Bush administration of selling out on national security.(AFP/Stan Honda)

1. I wonder if they hate America
That certainly would be the charge from bush backing "conservatives." Do not let a "conservative" off the hook when they start crawfishing away from bush policies. If it weren't for them he wouldn't be in a position to fuck things up so bad.

Just how inadvisable it is to mess with these worthies.

They do not take shit.

4. Bushco is going to India to visit our jobs
but to increase the amount of outsourcing, he is also trying to subcontract our national security.

5. When you put it that way...
...it really cuts right to the heart of the matter. I try not to think about this stuff too often...it's the kind of thing that could easily lead to an exploding head, and it's only going to get worse...at LEAST for the next three years, anyway.

He IS "visiting our jobs." All of the celebration over the "vibrant growth" in India is nift and all, but the stories of people in the U.S. who used to HAVE those jobs is perhaps not-so-nifty.

But, then again, half the people seem to think outsourcing is BAD, the other half say you're a "xenophobe" if you don;t like it.

I'm guessing the xenophobe folks are the ones who still have a job that pays a living wage. And NO, it's NOT "India's fault," and YES, "Indians have a right to make a living too," and all of the other apologetic rhetoric that goes with this, but I'm one of the unfortunate few who remembers a time when jobs in U.S. companies were performed IN THE U.S...
