Edit
Sorry for posting this...big mistake i'll try to be alittle more optimistic about our party from now on and keep my negative thoughts away from this board.

Of course, they're supporting Chuck whatshisname, when the majority of people know that Bob Casey Jr. is double digits ahead of Rick Santorum and that Bob Casey Jr. will beat Rick Santorum right back to the Medieval era where Rick Santorum obviously belongs.

... (prove you wrong) but I fundamentally agree with you. I don't know what the motivation is, but I know this simple fact: If the sides were reversed, i.e. Dems had the presidency, the house and the senate, and they had made the numerous total fuckups the Reps have, the Reps would have made hay - they would have gotten an impeachment or at least a few special prosecutor investigations.
We get squat. The president hands us fuckups on a silver platter, and we can't turn a turd into a Republican shit sandwich to save our lives.
I don't know what to think any more. It's hard to believe that our Dem leaders are this freaking useless, but time and again they prove that in fact, they are.

8. I object to the Blue Dog Coalition and the DLC being termed bastards |
|
Then I also object to Senator Harry Reid and Representative Nancy Pelosi being termed losers. Senator Reid and Representative Pelosi are fine people, they're also fine and talented leaders. They have to operate daily under extraordinary and difficult circumstances, often whilst getting no thanks from people such as....oh I don't know...YOU for example Daylin Byak.
To be completely blunt, your comments are horsecrap. The below paragraph of yours, it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.
Every day I wake up in the morning and look at myself and I say to myself, we're never going to takeover anything. Face it DU The Democrats don't want the majority, cause if we had the majority in Congress and the White House we would actually have to take responsiblity for your actions when something cause when your in the minority and have no real power in the Government you can bitch all you want about the bush crime family and how all our money is going to the richest 1% and all that.
You're more coherent with the below comments.
you need to give people a reason to vote Democratic and that reason cannot be "hey were not the republicans, vote for us!"
Yes I agree, we cannot just go out there and say "Iraq Iraq....we're not the Republicans, so vote for us!"
We do have to formulate a specific set of policies, alternative policies to the destructive policies of the Republican's. We will formulate this specific set of policies on a wide range of issues, such as Social Security, the Minimum Wage, Iraq, Progressive taxation, healthcare and activist Judges to name a few things.
You don't know what the Democratic Leadership is doing, and why should they announce at this time what they're doing? I see no need for them to.
You know if you've got nothing positive about the Democratic Party to post, and if you want to use abusive terms to describe MY party's leaders....then just take it some place else, or better still JUST DON'T POST IT!!!!
Dammit, I feel a lot better now.

9. Maybe I should clear something up |
|
I'm trying not to be pessmistic, i'm just tired of the Decsions the Democrats have done, that's all like what happen with the Alito filibuster.and certain things.
I love my party to death you may not believe by that post but that do, i'm just don't like the direction of leaders are going like Pelosi not supporting Impachment and Reid and Chuck Schumer shafting Paul Hackett.
That's all.

11. Well it's IRONIC that your avatar is of Senator Harry Reid!!!! |

Considering according to you Senator Harry Reid is a loser.
The Alito filibuster, what do you expect the party to become a laughing stock by launching a filibuster on Alito and then have it smacked down....and then all of the Right-Wing pundits on the television burst out laughing.
How the heck can Representative Pelosi go around screeching for Impeachment? We don't have a majority in Congress, so again, if she screeched for Impeachment and the REPUBLICANS brought it to a vote, we'd lose the vote. That also would have our party become a laughing stock.
Senator Schumer didn't shaft Paul Hackett, Hackett shafted Hackett with his comments about throwing all immigrants out of the country.
On Edit: Dammit spelling error.
