1. Don't it make your red state...
...don't it make your red state,
don't it make your red state blue?

2. That, as a graphic, is interesting.
Why is Iowa more blue than Minnesota and Wisconsin when Iowa went red and Minnesota and Wisconsin blue in 2004?

Why is Alabama still Red (cinnamon?) when even Florida is bluish?

Guess I should read the article, but that is one cool map.

4. This really makes an impact when viewed
The colors say it all! It figures Oklahoma would still be gray. People here are SSSSSOOOOOOOOOO SSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I'm just glad we're not still a shade of pink/red. Looking forward to turning blue soon - that will be a really bad sign for *.

5. It seems from the key that no state goes above 55%
Too bad this isn't October 2004.

Anyone know which state is demonstrating the biggest shift since Nov. 2004? Ohio maybe?

7. Big deal
I was in Columbus Ohio 2 weeks before the election.
Where was everyone else?
The only poll that mattered was Nov 2nd.

11. Bush just doesn't care at all about polls, censure, or impeachment.
He and his "base" have made billions of dollars. If I had billions of dollars and had set up conditions to continue making billions, I wouldn't care one whit about what the people providing said billions think about.

Polls don't rewrite cronyist laws, but the direction is good.

17. The details of those results are fascinating.
That 55% is in only one state, Utah. The others are below that level.

18. I'm particularly happy about Texas!
At this rate, Junior will be shopping for a new "ranch" outside Salt Lake City! (Actually, if the urban/rural split holds for that state, he'd better be looking a long way from SLC, since cities, even in traditionally "red" states, tend to be more liberal ...)
