Dean (John) slaps down Cornyn (Repuke)
Edited on Sat Apr-01-06 02:54 PM by Seabiscuit
At the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday on Senator Feingold's motion to Censure the pResident for committing countless felonies in violation of the FISA law, John Dean testified that Shrub should be censured.

Not only did Lindsay (closet? what closet?) Graham throw a bellicose bitch, bitch, bitch hissy-fit at Dean, cutting him off numerous times during Dean's answers (while displaying a profound ignorance of Watergate), Shrub-whores "Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., dismissed the hearings as "surreal" and "beyond the pale."

Cornyn, meanwhile, did his best KKKarl Rove imitation, "noting Dean was a 'convicted felon', said it 'strikes me as very odd that the Judiciary Committee is giving' Dean an opportunity to market his book."

In response, Dean carved Cornyn a new arsehole:

"Dean said his new book wouldn't be in stores until summer, adding mischievously that Cornyn would be in it. Asked later to elaborate, Dean said: 'I have a book coming out in July called 'Conservatives Without Conscience.' He happens to be mentioned in the book.'"

1. Hot dog! I like it! John Dean dresses and seems to be a demure
individual but I believe beneath the polished veneer lies a sweating dragon-clawed beast who does not suffer fools like Cornyn and Sessions lightly.

You go, John.

6. HaHa..I watched it
The pugs were so transparently foolish and Dean

was class personified. His expression never changed. He was unflappable, clear and concise.

3. I thought I read in the live threads that Dean also said something
about that if it weren't for presidential pardons there are several in the Bush administration who would not be allowed to serve.

9. I have been screaming about that for years
--the repukes love to spin their yap about Democrats seeking the felon vote -- who the (*%&# is appointing felons to serve as "public servants"? There are, I believe 6 (or is it 8?) formerly-convicted-but-now-conveniently-"pardoned" FELONS from Watergate and/or Iran/Contra in Junior Shit-Stain's administration.
WHY THE #%(&* IS IT NOT AGAINST THE LAW TO BE IN A GOVERNMENT JOB IF YOU HAVE SO WANTONLY BETRAYED THE PUBLIS TRUST? with or without a #%&ing "pardon"?

10. what will it take to get dems off of their asses?
"The censure motion has galvanized liberal activists, but most congressional Democrats have turned their backs on Feingold's effort."

I am so frustrated at those we elected who sit by watching Bush destroy our republic.

11. I've been asking that question since the vote on the IWR in Oct. 2002
This is the sorriest group of D.C. Dems in my lifetime. And I'm about to turn 61 in 30 days.
