5. I heard Jeff Gannon needs a gig.
He already knows the other side of the podium and I understand he can handle just about anything that comes his way.

17. Wolf was telling Tori Clark that he had heard the WH might want her
back in the Administration. She made a shermanesque statement - no way is she going back in. I bet they wanted her to take Scotty's job.

3. Well, considering...
That he doesn't have any credibility with anyone that has an IQ greater than ambient room temperature, this does not come as much of a surprise.

6. No more Snotty McLipless? They'll find someone just as bad.
He and Ari are virtual clones; I'm sure there are more like them out there.

8. Doesn't matter. What matters is the turmoil.
And the time the Administration** has to waste that they can't spend tormenting patriotic American citizens.

NGU.

11. Oh, yes. Absolutely. Damn, this is fun to watch, isn't it?
The shame of it is that ol' Snotty wil land some $200K/year gig sponsored by one of bushyboy's pals, and be set for life, for doing nothing.

Even though if talent were truly rewarded in this world, he'd be flipping burgers at McDonalds.

7. The revolving door is turning.....
I hope they dump Scotty McLiar. He's such a twit. No doubt, they'll find an equally useless twit.

But still, the idea of Scotty fighting for his job is juicy.....can you just see him? Sitting in the Board Room, slamming his fist in the table. Cursing, with spit flying out of his mouth. Defending his years of Noble Service to them all. Defending their stupid policies, defending their lies.

Lying for them. Lying 24/7. Making stuff up on the fly. Looking believable. Well.......almost.

For God's Sake, and you're going to let me go after all THAT?

9. If so Bush will probably give Scotty a medal & a much better position. ->
Isn't that how Bush normally rewards really good suck ups that are incompetent as heck? Hmm... as good a suck up as Scotty Mc Moonface is maybe he'll even be given a plum of an Ambassadorship.

15. The devil you know...
I actually would prefer that Scotty stay on. I think he's lousy at his job, and has the public speaking skills of a lampshade. The guy's a bumbling fool. I'd hate to see him replaced with some super slick believeable guy.

21. What are they going to do? Bring back Ari Fleischer? Hire Baghdad Bob?
Ari was such a terrible liar I actually felt sorry for him. I mean, the ability to lie with a straight face is one of the requirements for any job in Bush's White House, and it's very important in that one.

Now, Baghdad Bob would be perfect. Can't you imagine him on the Titanic? "This ship is unsinkable. Please remain calm. This ship is not sinking. Please re . . . blub! blub! gurgle!" That is what a Bush press spokesman must be able to in the next year or so he has left before President Pelosi takes office.

A chief of staff can not fire a cabinet member. He could suggest it to bush.
