Liberal Democrat's Satanic Overlord
By NoDNC.com staff (03/30/2006)

Everyone in America should be asking themselves if the Democratic Party has adopted Satan as its leader. Somehow, a San Francisco event, drawing 25,000 teens challenging the leftist cultural orthodoxy, doesn't merit any news coverage outside of the local press.

...
The San Francisco event was organized for "teens to find Bible-based solutions for the spread of sexually transmitted disease, teen pregnancy, drug abuse and suicide."

...
Who but Satan could run a city and a political party that fights against morality, and specifically considers efforts to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, teen pregnancy, drug abuse, and suicide "fascist" and dangerous? From my perspective, the Democrats who control San Francisco represent a party who has adopted Satan as their overlord. San Francisco, home of Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and home of the Satanic Church which appears to be in charge of the Democratic Party.

"A political party that fights against morality..."??? :WTF: Have they looked in the mirror today?
They are pissed because their bible rally didn't get news coverage. I'm not even sure I understand the point here. Does anyone else?

4. It's ridiculous, but indicative of the Bushbot Right. Scary stuff.
I agree with the following, which you will never hear this NoDNC crew endorsing (or understanding, of course). I guess I should be shot for this radicalism.

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall possess the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

31. i really enjoyed those inspiring words faygokid
Since local fundies have informed me that I take Mathew 7:1 out of context, I will offer up some support for the passage:

Romans 14:13
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Chronicles 20:12
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

Corinthians 10:29
Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

Matthew 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Luke 6:37
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

33. Thanks, enjoyed yours, too.
Hard not to "judge not," given the insanity of this crew. But, Lincoln's Second Inaugural put it best, regarding that, as this excerpt shows (it is mind boggling how powerful this is; great book available about it, which you would enjoy. You have probably read it. Nevertheless, this always bears repeating. Just an excerpt from the most beautifully written speech ever):

. . .One eighth of the whole population were colored slaves, not distributed generally over the Union, but localized in the Southern part of it. These slaves constituted a peculiar and powerful interest. All knew that this interest was, somehow, the cause of the war. To strengthen, perpetuate, and extend this interest was the object for which the insurgents would rend the Union, even by war; while the government claimed no right to do more than to restrict the territorial enlargement of it. Neither party expected for the war, the magnitude, or the duration, which it has already attained. Neither anticipated that the cause of the conflict might cease with, or even before, the conflict itself should cease. Each looked for an easier triumph, and a result less fundamental and astounding. Both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God; and each invokes His aid against the other. It may seem strange that any men should dare to ask a just God's assistance in wringing their bread from the sweat of other men's faces; but let us judge not that we be not judged. . .

34. It's always hard not to judge those who have already publicly judged you
It's harder still not to judge an individual in high office that changes his story constantly, which suggests he is at the very least a liar. Instead, I'll let history judge a tyrant with the words of Lincoln: "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."

and appeal to guilt of their enemies. If we derive symbolically that these imbeciles known for their admiration for the canine and common loathing for the feline are equating sexuality with the wanton but vulnerable abandon of the kitten, and seeing the concept 'vulnerable' in the vicinity are immediately reminded of their priority stack, which squawks 'danger danger will robinson, put the chastity belt back on' when presented with the possibility of socially unsanctioned coitus, also known as fucking. Since someone at least very similar to them would surely respond to such behavior with righteous intervention and the demand that the opinion of the 'peer' (uhhhhh...) group be respected and approval be sought before insertion takes place.

Actually, I think these folks are an answer to overpopulation in the long term (not in the short since they purportedly breed like flies) since, as the movie has it "they should light their tampon on fire, cause it's about the only bang they're gonna get".

Up with tribal survival !!! Better to beat your wife than let her have an orgasm. Of course, a good Christian extremist beating can be needed 'correction', unlike a Muslim extremist beating, which is always a reflection of Satan. Know any underage boys willing to give a Christian fundamentalist a blowjob on the side ?

30. One of my favorite blogs covered it
Liberal Christian. Great fellow. Here's a sample:

http://slacktivist.typepad.com/slacktivist/2006/04/teen_mania.html

2. Stop pissing on trees.

The name "Battle Cry" -- and especially the shameless, spiritualized dick-swinging of the "City Hall Rally" -- has little to do with what St. Paul meant by "spiritual warfare." It is, instead, the latest example of all that the so-called "culture warriors" seem capable of: Marking their territory by pissing on trees.

From the bogus "War on Christmas" to the fetishistic devotion to Ten Commandments markers, this territory-marking has become an obsession for many of the alleged followers of Christ. "They'll know we are Christians by our love" apparently proved too difficult, so instead we've settled for "They'll know we are Christians by our bullying dominance of the public square."

Stop it. Just stop. Stop pissing on trees. Stop "reclaiming America for Christ." Christ already has a kingdom, an upside-down, mustard-seed kingdom without a flag. And while you people are so busy trying to create an alternative kingdom called "Christian America," the prostitutes and tax collectors and Samaritans are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. And so are a lot of those couples who got married there at City Hall.

40. Additional Information - It IS Battle Cry
Different Site >

The San Francisco event was sponsored by >

This from (snips) > .. This is not going away ..

"Battle Cry for a Generation" is led by a 44-year-old Concord native, Ron Luce, who wants "God's instruction book" to guide young people away from the corrupting influence of popular culture.

Luce, whose Teen Mania organization is based in Texas, kicked off a three-city "reverse rebellion" tour Friday night intended to counter a popular culture that he says glamorizes violence and sex. The $55 advance tickets for two days of musical performances and speeches were sold out, but walk-up admission was available for $199.

After stops in Detroit and Philadelphia in the next few weeks, Luce wants to unleash a "blitz" of youth pastors into the communities to do everything from work with the homeless to find new ways to bring others to Christ. He challenged youth leaders to double the size of their groups in the next year.

And then he plans to return to San Francisco next year to chart their progress.
...
A Battle Cry invitation to teenagers made plain the symbolism of gathering in San Francisco for a pre-event rally at "the very City Hall steps where several months ago, gay marriages were celebrated for all the world to see."

Same-sex marriage "is another sign of the end of times," said Sherilyn David, referring to the apocalypse that some fundamentalist Christians believe is foretold in Scripture. The 22-year-old San Jose administrative assistant came to Battle Cry with 15 other young Christians on Friday and will be joined by 60 other friends Saturday.

This is SFGate's coverage >

Military metaphors abound in Luce's descriptions of the struggle. He tells young people of how "an enemy has launched a brutal attack on them." At a pre-Battle Cry rally Friday afternoon on the steps of City Hall, Luce told his mostly teenage audience that "terrorists of a different kind" -- advertisers -- were targeting them and that they were "caught in the middle of the battle."

Is it okay with you that thousands of American teenagers are being sent into 'spiritual' battle?
Does it bother you that they view you as the devil? Does it bother you a little that unless you bow down to their god, as they understand it, it is open season for Liberals, etc.?

Where do you think fanatics come from? It is a process of indoctrination. No one is born believing this stuff! Oh. And they have the President of the United States 'on their side'; at least he wants them to believe that and will go to some lengths to try to mollify them.

Why shouldn't I post it here?

More from the NoDNC site. Does any of this sound familiar? > snip

"Are you ready to go to battle for your generation?" he asked, and the young people roared "yes!" and some waved triangular red flags flown from long, medieval-looking poles.

Luce's approach has been praised by conservative leaders from the Rev. Jerry Falwell to Fox News commentator Sean Hannity. Much of the statistical backing for the horrors Luce sees on TV is provided by the Parents Television Council, which is funded by conservative foundations such as the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation.
